1972 Suzuki GT550J

Here are a few pics of my newly acquired J model beautifully restored by Barrie Vernon of Oxford. Its of early 1972 vintage but registered as a 1973 model, 3 cylinder, 5 speed, electric start, two stroke 50 BHP motor capable of over 110 Mph.
The J model is of particular interest due to the double sided
twin leading shoe front brake which is the same unit fitted to the GT750J,
this is a much sought after part for classic racer enthusiasts and can fetch
over £400 just for an unrestored hub.
